Fear of Failure & the Pressure to Succeed

These days, many people feel afraid of failure. They doubt themselves so much and don’t know what to do next. When they think of an idea, they hesitate to try and end up doing nothing. People keep overthinking their lives and feel confused about their future. Things that make them afraid include being judged by other people, failing at something new, and missing opportunities.

We are surrounded by success stories and achievements that others have gained.

Over time, failure starts to feel unacceptable. People make success look so easy, but they don’t see that winners also struggle. People focus only on success and not on the effort behind it. They start to feel burned out and overthink, and afterward they become afraid of failure because they only see success. What they can’t see is how others went through suffering before ending up in a good situation.

Guys, listen. Failure is a part of growth. Everyone moves at a different pace. There’s no need to rush. Don’t compare yourself to other people’s journeys. They have their own paths; go back to yours. We are human, and nothing is perfect. Keep going and be consistent with your process.

Here are some ways you can overcome the fear of failure:

  1. Define your own success.
Don’t copy other people’s definitions of success. You will feel unsatisfied because it doesn’t come from your heart.
  2. Focus on progress, not perfection.
You don’t have to wait for the perfect time. Perfect timing doesn’t exist. Celebrate your small wins and appreciate every step you’ve taken.
  3. Allow yourself to rest without guilt.
Don’t force yourself. Rest when you’re tired. If you’re sick (physically or mentally) you won’t be able to enjoy the success you’ve been working for.

So, that’s all I want to say. Cheer up, keep going, and I pray that you can achieve your dreams.

Love you guys, x!

You Know Them, But Do You Know Yourself?

One thing we often forget in life is not knowing ourselves well enough . It sounds ridiculous, because we grow up, we experience many things...
